For clamping very small items less than 2.5cm thick these clamps get more than 4 stars but if you are trying to clamp something thicker than To clamp 1" you need to be careful because there is an edge on the metal that will bite into the wood. In addition, the rubber on the clamping surface keeps falling off, which is very annoying when you clamp material with wet glue. I also had a pair that had the clamping surfaces bent on arrival. They still work well, only the metal edge of the clip is more prone to cutting into wood. It would be better for them to put a vertical edge against the pressing surface.
