The design and materials used for this Magsafe car charger are great. Pitaka seems to use VERY strong magnets to hold the phone in addition to good materials. You get a Magsafe animation when you plug in an iPhone, but I'm not sure how much current it charges. I had another Magsafe charger from Scosche (Magic Mount Charge 4) and it was poorly constructed (mostly not considering the thickness of the iPhone 13 Pro camera mount) along with weaker magnets. It's much better. Cannot recommend this charger and will buy another for our other car. The only complaint is that it doesn't come with an AC adapter, but I knew that (and didn't need it).
