Review on Enhance Your Connectivity with the Vantec 🔌 2+1 FireWire 800/400 PCIe Combo Host Card (UGT-FW210) by Ramon Hood

I'm using this on a new Windows 10 64-bit system (Anniversary Edition update). I needed to be compatible with some of my older Firewire devices. It works great with my Canon HV30 Mini DV/HDV camera and a Firewire 400 hard drive. The 3-port version I use has an internal 6-pin connector (same type as the external ones) that I use attached to the front panel via the FrontX connector. Please note that different versions have different chips. This 3-port version uses the VIA chipset. Again, no problems with the latest Windows.
