This worked really well on our 7 lb Chihuahua - for reference we are a size 10 and it fits perfectly! - as it is very easy to put it in. It opens flat and all you have to do is tuck a foot in, wrap the rest of the coat around it and then it turns brown all over, especially with the front piece on the chest, which not all dog coats have, so was this is the case good design/functionality. Detail. The fleece is really good quality and it kept our little fella warm so well that he was able to stay outside much longer when we took him for a walk, and that's with the snow on the ground! It's not waterproof but I knew that and honestly when it rains it still doesn't stay home that long!
