This adapter is great! I bought this about a week ago to connect my Xbox 360 to a monitor I had laying around. It only had two input ports; VGA and DVI (I'm not sure which type. D, A or I, so I went with this VGA converter). I've read about some sort of 'mod' that can be done for the 360 with HDMI and analogue output cables but didn't want to go into detail. It was easier and I would say more reliable. I just got one of my audio splitters with volume controls using this adapter, and now I've connected my speaker system and headphones to it at the same time. What I particularly like is that by using my computer monitor instead of a TV, I can sit more comfortably at my desk and see a lot more game detail due to the higher resolution and better color reproduction on the display. I'll be posting an update in a few weeks to see how it stands the test of time.
