Works well and is easy to clean.
I also tried this drain protection cover in the bathroom. I've found it collects more hair and is easier to clean than a tub. This one has shorter hairs that can be easily removed from the central cup, and longer strands can be easily pulled from the surrounding spikes. If it was discolored or needed special care, I would toss it out with a couple of white towels and bleach it to make it like new again. Although the small lifting handle has come loose, removing it from the sewer is not difficult. I bought 3 packs thinking I'd replace a clean one when the current one needs extra cleaning. 3 packs had a very strong plastic smell which I don't remember buying one.
