Generally works well. Switches fairly quickly and doesn't degrade quality or latency - if configured correctly. And by "right" I mean don't plug your mouse into the port it's supposed to plug into, instead use a hub on the front panel. I had latency issues when using the 'correct' port. Also, the default keyboard controls are pretty nasty and the documentation isn't great. Here's what you need to know. Most commands take this form: press the special command key (CTRL by default) twice, then press the specific key for what you want to do, and then press ENTER. Use Ctrl -> Ctrl -> B -> Enter to turn off the annoying beep. Ctrl -> Ctrl -> Input toggles through the computer you're connected to (but apparently only one way - it toggles from 2 to 1, but not 1 to 2). This is terrible because if you copy and paste something using keyboard shortcuts (on Windows) and then hit enter, you're switched to another computer. You can disable keyboard shortcuts entirely if you also connect a keyboard to the front port (via a hub since your mouse is already there), but then I couldn't wake up my computer with a keyboard or mouse - useless. There's a way to toggle the special command key from ctrl to scrlk or numlk, but they don't tell you how to do it (although it follows a pattern so it didn't take long to figure out). It's Ctrl -> Ctrl -> Scrlk -> Enter. Now the special command key is scrlk instead of ctrl so you never press it accidentally.
