Fitted two of these in my G37 dome/map light, both lights are grouped together and when you open the door, especially after a while in the dark they are strikingly bright, I used to have one Couple of LEDs from aliexpress and the reason I replaced them was because they didn't have any built in resistors and they always lit up even when off due to typical current leakage, incandescent bulbs take more current to turn on while LEDs take the current when on turn on at very low current. In short, they work great and don't glow, unlike other cheaper brands. The polarity does not have to be changed either. But at night they are blindingly bright!
