These things are great! I had over a dozen 12V incandescent bulbs that I wanted to replace with LED lights. Docking outdoor lights is usually troublesome: difficult or cumbersome to make good, reliable connections that are waterproof, space-saving and durable. With these connectors, a heat gun, and an extension cord, I was able to get the job done quickly and efficiently. I can't think of a better way to get a solder joint in the field. Just in case, after connecting the two splice wires, I ran 1/2-inch glue-filled 3-to-1 heat-shrink tubing over the splices. to increase their durability and water resistance. The most beautiful joints I have ever made.
