Poor implementation of ST/Link SWD

I don't normally write bad reviews but this thing deserves it. There are many things I don't like about this device. I haven't been this disappointed in a purchase in a long time. The first thing I found was that the connectors on the ribbon cable that came with the device didn't actually fit the pins on the device. They just fall off immediately. Also, it turns out that there is no SWO connection on this programmer. Therefore, ITM is not emitted when debugging. It is a fundamental component of ST/Link and SWD and an invaluable diagnostic tool. It's a complete mistake not to provide this. Finally it doesn't work properly. The device is not always recognized correctly, and when it is, openocd cannot open the programmer. However, STM32CubeProgrammer found it and was able to use it. And a word of warning - this thing attempts to power the attached device from the 3.3V connection. ST/LINK uses a power connector for level-shifted, low-voltage devices and is designed to "drain power" from the board ". You risk damaging the device under test and/or the USB connector if you plug any of the power connectors into the appropriate port on the ST/Link device. This thing was designed by someone with no clue. Just use a real ST/Link programmer or the built in STM32 Nucleo64 programmer.
