After years of running a TN ASUS 24-inch 144Hz monitor, I wanted to tackle the curved scene and look for an IPS monitor. After searching and seeing how outrageous IPS monitors are these days (early 2020), I came across this 24-inch curved monitor from MSI. panel VA. VA sits between your budget old-tech TN panel and nice, high-end IPS monitors. This monitor is very light, it has NO height adjustment but it can TILT. The on-screen menu is simple and convenient. Comes with an HDMI cable (it is recommended to use a DP cable) 144Hz runs on DP and 120Hz on HDMI 2.0 (requires GPU with 2.0 support or you will get stuck at 60-75Hz). Freesync is available at the touch of a button in the OSD. Also, it works with G-SYNC as a G-SYNC compatible monitor (not tested by Nvidia). I use it with 2060SUPER. (Enable FreeSync on monitor then go to Nvidia control panel and enable G-Sync compatibility) Picture quality is very good, crisp and clear, no issues with it, it was worth the $179 I paid , I wish I had bought 2.
