EVGA 500 GD, 80+ GOLD 500W, 5 year warranty, PSU 100-GD-0500-V1 I bought this on February 04, 2020. Turned on the computer this week. smoke and fire! One of the SATA connectors on the hard drive caught fire, melting both the connector on the hard drive and the SATA connector on the power supply. I went to the EVGA website to go through the RMA process. 1 Create an account > 2 Register a product > 3 Upload proof of purchase. this is all normal. try to go to the website to get an RMA from there. Any other link will result in a 404 error requiring the browser to refresh the page or go back and try again. Finally I get to the page where I can fill out the RMA form. no, a "ticket number" is required. Repeat the search process. mumble, mumble, mumble I was able to ask a question. "How do I get a ticket number to get an RMA?" and the auto reply let me know I had to wait a day or two for a reply. I will update this review as the situation develops.
