I bought these as a possible replacement for purchasing another set of Comply Tx-400 foam tips for my Brainwavz Delta headphones which are the best headphones at $25 . je. Comply tips wear out over time and mine have snapped causing weird fit and insulation issues. I found and bought these tips and while they fit easily on phones and in my ear canals, they are much longer than a lip. on the IEM Brainwavz that actually stick out and allow the appendages to fit. With Comply or Standard eartips, the end of the speaker is right there, but there's a 1.5cm dead zone limited by the silicone, and a lot of mid and high-frequency sound is lost. It's a shame because they're pretty comfortable when you have them. i.e. Maybe a version with only two flanges would fit better, but that's how it is.
