My cat is quite big for a kitten lol. He combed a few spots and I needed something to keep him from reaching his hind legs. Like I said, he's a longer cat, so he could maneuver around cute, soft alternative cone pillows and still lick problem areas. It covers wonderfully! I love that the bottom is so open because I was concerned that he might use his tray with the other coveralls ("Recovery Suits”) I bought. The size is big. I haven't really strayed from the measurements online - I was just guessing based on other people's input, but I'm certainly glad I went with the big one!
