I purchased 2 of these for Kitties Onnie and Earl With Winter coming I wanted them to have a warm house.I have them on a covered porch (so can't say how they do in direct weather, but the material is nice and sturdy. the feet are optional- I did not use those and the door flap does come off- my cats were terrified of it! All in all, they like their new houses- they were very shy at first, but these are feral cats that are cautious. I am pleased with the product and like I can up Zip and store flat for summertime. I have added extra blankets and will be using heating pads on the really cold nights- but inside is insulated like a cooler.I would recommend.
