Unfortunately due to the location of the outlet, using wired closet lights wasn't an option for us so I decided to give them a try and so far they've been great. They're bright enough to be used as decorative closet lighting, the different colors are a nice touch, and the timer means the batteries won't drain too quickly. I use them with rechargeable batteries and so far they seem to have decent battery life although I don't intend to use them for hours a day. The glue seems strong enough, especially for not very polished surfaces (Ikea cabinet), in fact I couldn't get the light out to fix its placement, note they get heavy with 3 AA batteries. Because it comes with 2 remote controls, you can use it in two places, but both remote controls control all the lights.
