We had trouble charging the tablet from the start. If the cable is hit lightly, charging will stop. The battery never lasted more than an hour or two, which was impractical if we really wanted to use it on the go. It got to the point where we had to keep a constant eye on the connection to make sure it was charging and we requested a warranty repair (currently 8 months from purchase). We paid for return shipping (nearly $12) so they could look at the charging port and battery. You changed the charging port; Not sure if they should have replaced the battery but now wifi and ethernet are not working! We took it to a local computer repair shop and they said the hardware wasn't actually working and since there was no internet there was no way to verify if the problem was software. Without internet, the tablet is practically useless. We contacted them shortly after receiving the defective tablet and they want us to pay for the return shipping AGAIN so they can look at it. Right now, just shipping under warranty costs 1/2 the cost of a new tablet. In the end we just reworked it.
