My son is 3 and is wearing his second pair of these shoes. His first pair were great, we had no problems with them and he must have thought they were comfortable because of all his shoes, he always preferred to wear 'grey shoes' so I bought them again when he was out outgrew the first pair. After the first and only wash (gentle cycle, cold water, air dry) the soles came off the shoes and he couldn't wear them anymore. I was very disappointed with this as I only bought my kids Stride Rites for their fit, quality and reputation (I wore them as a kid!). I expected better.
