Not quite as expected
Buy this to cut eggs for egg salad. It works most of the time, but due to the design, ie the cutting wires are NOT flush with the edge of the device, it doesn't cut all the way through the egg leaving a part that has to be pushed through by hand. A platform that fits into the outer ring of the cutting surface by placing an egg on it and then slicing the egg should work.
