Review on 📡 Superior Performance and Reliability: Ubiquiti UniFi UAP-PRO WiFi System by Kyle Omaha

I bought this device to have both the best range and simultaneous 2.4GHz and 5GHz coverage that my old AP does not have. Installation was easy with the included UniFi controller program. I disabled Wi-Fi on my existing Draytek Vigor 2110n router and from there connected to UniFi via Ethernet and used identical WPA2 SSID credentials. Various wireless devices in my house reconnected with no issues. Both range and speed have improved significantly (but my Draytek is 7 years old so I still expected an improvement with a better spec device). Unlike some other browsers, I had no problems with Java on my Win8.1 Pro machine. Management is via a web interface that has many features and functions but has a somewhat quirky layout. It takes some time to find the way. I had no issues with the disconnect and didn't notice the device ticking noise that some others have heard. However, the blue status LED looks like a mini airport beacon, so I turned it off with the management software.
