Since there is no thermostat in the apartment, the batteries get very hot, which contributes to an increase in dryness and static. Control is provided through the Mi Home app for your convenience. We are using the Chinese localization of the device, and inside Mi Home we have selected the Mainland China region. Since the device is wired in to a wireless access point operating at a frequency of 2.4 GHz, it is able to communicate without any issues with the Keenetic Giga KN-1010 router. With the Level 1 setting, the humidifier operates silently, but the torque can still be heard, so we turn it off at night. Everyone has their own noise assessment system, but the humidifier is quiet when it is set to this mode.
