Felt wood skirt made of wood

Hearts and gnomes are glued on, not sewn on, and begin to rise. Everything sticks to the felt material and you can't just brush it off. I used a lint roller and also threw it in the air dryer and still couldn't get the particles out. I literally had to pluck it with my fingers. Too much work.
