I used to have bottled water with an electric pump. My bill was about $150 a month. The water tasted good but it was a hassle to fill new bottles. They would suddenly run out and have to change bottles at the right time. I switched to this filter because our delivery driver retired and the service went to hell after that. Anyway, I've been looking everywhere for this device. I installed it in my garage with a line to the fridge. This thing should last my life. It's big and heavy. The filters are huge. They should easily last over a year. The water tastes great. The water looked cloudy at first as others have said, but there are only millions of tiny bubbles in the water. If you leave the jar for a minute these bubbles will disappear and after two weeks of use there are no tiny bubbles left, just pure filtered water.
