Exactly what the doctor ordered

just received. It'll have a better idea with more use, but it's beautifully made, easy to use and a great weight and size for bike work. Calibrated by Bruno in March 2013. Just wanted those looking for Nm to work on a 1/4 drive bike to state on the calibration certificate that it is calibrated below: calibrated for 30 in-lbs to 150 in-lbs {calibrated 20% (30 in-lbs), 60% (90 in-lbs) and 100% (150 in-lbs) of full load}. Indeed, it can be seen that the accuracy readings are well below the advertised average error of 4.0%+- for both clockwise and counterclockwise torque. The highest was about 2+% at the 150 lb setting. Well under 1.0% at 30 in-lbs. Everything is listed in the calibration certificate. This roughly means a usable range of 3.5 Nm to 15.3 Nm. Doesn't bother with some of the finer adjustments (mostly screws) below 4Nm, but does take care of most of the calibration for those DIY things. Another wrench for heavier things like handlebars, seat posts, disc brake rotors, sprocket cranks etc. Nice set and well made. Went to JH Williams for 1/4" drive metric hexes (another Snap-on daughter). Excellent price. Good instructions and online support and chat. Should be enough for 5,000 clicks and/or several years.
