I bought this handlebar tape for my Triumph Spitfire, but ended up using it for a different purpose when the foam rubber on the handle of my lawnmower showed several cracks and tears. I wrapped the rubber with tape for the steering wheel. rubber holds up well. Because the tape is a bit sticky, I actually feel like I'm gripping the lawnmower better than ever. The stickiness also explains why the tape was developed for racing and other high-performance driving applications. Although I use it for a different purpose than intended, it seems to be holding up.
