I bought this model as I don't need the suction cup mount which seems to be standard on many lights sold here. It just felt like the suction cup was less versatile for certain monitor shapes. The light part of it is what I need. I like the brightness and heat regulation. Both work very well. Nothing more to say, works great. The bracket part works well, but gets slightly disturbed when you raise your hand to turn the light on or off, or use other controls for brightness and warmth. I think I was hoping for something that would hold up a little better. I think I'll get into the habit of just turning the light off to use these controls and booting it back up. It will probably be automatic. never mind Another thing that isn't a big deal but is something to note: when it's in the center of my Macbook Pro's display, it slightly obscures the camera and causes a dark bar at the top of the video. I only move it about an inch to one side or the other. Overall I am very satisfied with this product. It comes with a good body and the build quality is good for the price. I would have given it a 5 if it weren't for a few fit issues.
