Put in batteries, liked big numbers etc. Remote reading at first but 6 degrees off main unit when within 7 inches of main unit. I put both next to my old block and the temperature of the main block dropped a few degrees too. I looked at it and the remote stopped working. I tried everything possible, it didn't work anymore. With these problems, they return it. To update. The company sent me a new one free of charge explaining why the temp was wrong. The new unit works great, is very easy to set up and all temperatures adjust in 15 minutes. The returned block still didn't match after over 24 hours. Big difference between the two. I am very happy with this device and the company did not ask me to update my review, just asked if they could send a new device knowing that the money for the old one was refunded.
