I just bought this on the very best day so I haven't used it much but my initial review is positive. I let it stretch and dry for the recommended 36 hours, but only noticed the typical ("chemical") smell that usually accompanies these foam products when I removed them from the shrink wrap. He seemed to inflate quickly and reach the described height. So far the old innerspring mattress has made it MUCH more comfortable. The foam is quite springy so I don't feel any "hot spots" due to the lack of cushioning. I have purchased a variety of Costco foam toppers, bed baths, etc. I would say it's equivalent but cheaper and delivered straight to your door. I'll update if my rating changes, but so far so good.
