I bought them mainly for interior lighting (door undersides, trunk, parking lights). For two small LEDs they are much brighter than hot incandescent bulbs. I worried about plastic bodies until I burned myself on factory lightbulbs. These LEDs generate almost no heat like incandescent bulbs. They really help to light up my car entrance and cargo area. I put two in my headlights to replace the parking lights and what a difference from the old bulbs. I gave my extra headlights to two of my friends and they love how they modified their cars by adding some more light. I recommend them to anyone looking for a great LED to light up their car.
