Works but soaks up the sauce!
Suitable for my 18 month old girl who has space (she is tiny) and tried to give her pasta with sauce and some sauce spilled on her. I immediately wiped it off while she wore it and then hand washed it with a sponge. the sauce has soaked into the fabric. I haven't tried the washing machine yet. It's waterproof, which is nice.
