If you don't want to spend a lot of money on tablets, then this is a good option. I don't do much on tablets other than watch TV, shop online, and check email. I used to have several iPads, but once the screen broke it cost a lot of money to replace, not even worth fixing. So I decided to try this one. I don't want anything too complicated or connected to icloud. I can download all the applications I am using at the moment. For that price I can easily get a new one if something goes wrong.
