I've been looking for a USB 3.0+ hub with more than 4 ports for over a year. I've seen a few but when I checked them closely they were clearly poor quality material or limited performance when using more than 1 port. I stumbled upon this and am glad I did. It's well built [relatively heavy as the case is metal rather than plastic], each port is either blue (port 3.0) or blue (charging). He has 10 plus 3 each! More than I had hoped! No setup required; Just plug in the power and the available version 3.0 [2.0 if that's all you have] and start filling the ports. I have several 3.0 devices [already have a WiFi adapter, label printer, USB hard drive, data cables for 2 tablets and a Kindle, as well as an installed MP3 player and 2 outlets to power mini USB and Apple devices . . And I still have room for improvement! Only takes up one of my external 3.0 ports on my desktop and I have instant access to it when needed. I'm amazed by the capacity, the price was higher than cheaper devices, but obviously it's a good deal, I can see all the resources it provides and its weight makes it stable when all the connection cables go in different directions, what otherwise they would have pulled it. If you need such a thing, you will be satisfied with the purchase. With USB 3.0 protocol and sockets, it should last for several years.
