I use this as a supplement to the feed of my ringed pigeons. They love it, as do the other fowl I've fed him. The tiny granules are easy to swallow whole. This gives them tasty enriched feed. It is particularly difficult to find vitamin fortified feed that pigeons will eat, but only grain is deficient in vitamin D3, A etc. and many birds are picky about greens. Some seed mixes spray vitamins/minerals onto the oat grains in the mix (pigeons don't eat the pointed grains as they swallow the feed whole) or the nutrients are mixed into the seed mix as individual extruded grains - pigeons benefit from this. Do not eat. Zupreem granules of this size are very small but not dusty like chicken starter crumbles. They were very well received by my pigeons, whales, cocks and my favorite star. I usually give it as a supplement of choice, not a complete diet. You will first select each granule if it is included in the seed mix.
