I have a 10 year old Great Dane, I try to give him the best food for his age but also in my wallet. He is very healthy (thankfully Danes don't usually live to be more than 10 years old) so it's important that his diet keeps him healthy for as long as possible and increases his lifespan, and I think since the food industry for older dogs is so limited If you're not willing to shell out $90 for £35, then this meal achieves that goal. I weigh 35 pounds in two weeks or less and spent $36 on this meal. It has clean ingredients and isn't full of junk corn. It also has glucosamine which I think helps my dog get good exercise. He had a slight reddening of the skin on his stomach before I started feeding him this food and it completely disappeared after eating this food for a month. The main reason I gave this three stars is the taste and texture. I don't eat this, but my Great Dane, who will literally eat anything under the sun and has a bottomless stomach, is not gulping down this food like he has for years past. In fact, he looks at me every day, utterly disappointed that I put that food back on his plate. The texture is very dry to the touch, like cardboard, so I doubt it will help my dog eat it.
