I recently purchased some new battery cables. Both the positive and negative were colored black. I used some of this heat shrink to color one end of the positive cable red. It easily molded to the oddball shape with a nice tight fit. I was able to cut out the holes for the bolts afterwards with an exacto knife.Overall, the heat shrink was thicker than I expected. Ive used adhesive lined shrink tubing before so I have something to compare. In this case I used the tubing to reinforce wood handles for wood clamps. Here are my impressions using the heat shrink.My application: I use pliers on the wood handles of wood clamps to get additional torque when tightening. The wood handles begin to get chewed up and eventually will just disintegrate. I used the heat shrink to reinforce and protect the wood handles from pliers. -- THIN GLUE: Other professional shrink

I had an issue with the size of the heat shrink I ordered and Walmart could not sort it out which was understandable until they put me in email contact with the supplier. They issued a credit and sent me the correct size in a matter of days. The product is also very well priced for the quality of the heatshrink. A big hand for the supplier. WELL DONE.

I really need to torch it in order to seal. There is some transparent plastic film inside which melts and seals the tubing around the splice, pretty cool!

Thought I bought them too big, but it shrinks a whole lot more than you might think. Also creates a very good seal. Thanks for attention.

Added this shrink rap on my anchor line for a cleaner look and less snagging. It was easy to shrink using a heat gun. Noting less sea weed on the anchor without the knots

I ordered the 3.2 mm / 1/8" tubing. When it arrived, it seemed quite large; it was 4.1 mm inside diameter (a 4 mm drill bit could be easily inserted), which is quite a bit larger than I wanted. I returned it without hassle to a local Whole Foods. I'll order again, but with their smallest diameter shrink tubing.

I had some drip line I wanted to attach to some hose bibs I ran into my backyard for watering a few fruit trees. I already had the drip line and some metal female hose repair fittings, but I just needed a way to mate them. Now I could have bought pre-made adapters, but I'd rather be cheap and try to MacGyver my way through things. Within the first 15 minutes of receiving this today I was able to repair my dogs leash that he chewed and bike lock that scrapped against the tire. Seems like good quality and had good shrinkage on the heat gun. Looking forward to putting this to good use on other projects, maybe even something electical!

This is a professional grade shrink wrap. There is plenty of glue and it holds tight and strong. It's easy to work with. Not suitable for heavy-duty applications!

Bought these to use for heat shrinking ethernet cable to the terminals and they work great and provide a great, clean, and finished look to the cables.

This is an EXCELLENT product. I need to buy some additional sizes. Its shrinking capacity covers a broad range; approx 2" to 5/8" and great wall thickness as it shrinks. It also has an internal adhesive so wherever you put it, it stays.

Good product. Less glossy than the expensive stuff. It’s a few mm smaller than other brands. No writing on the outside. Glue has to get very very hot to activate.

No adhesive lining! I wanted adhesive lining and double checked the product description. There is no adhesive lining. The heat shrink was in a large roll, not damaged in shipment and appears satisfactory in other respects so I am not going to bother with a return. Will have to find adhesive lined heatshrink locally.

I ordered a 1/2" diameter but received 3/4". My tablet charging cable was frayed at the joint. Gave it a try anyway. It didn't shrink down as far as I would like, but the glue inside made for a tight seal. It won't come off. I used a tweezer and a lighter to apply it. I'm happy with my purchase!

I got this to cover the cable for a homm made swing. You can see in the picture where i was able to double and triple it up in some spots so there is a larger area to grip and for covering the pig tail on the cable. It worked great and feels strong. Takes a good amount of time to shrink to 1/3 but i am happy with it.

I used this product to pad mounts that hold a very heavy piece of glass art in its steel frame. This product has great flexibility. It doesn't shorten in length when heated but gets 3x thicker.

Since this was 10ft long i cut into 10 1ft sections. Then I added each section to a finger, and now I have finger extensions. Too bad I cant type well with them on though
