Protects Conex door lock handles

See update below: I bought this to lock my Shanghai Baoshan Pacific built container box. My biggest concern was that the mounting knobs on the box would fit into the hole in the bracket. It is, see picture. This lock is resistant to bolt cutters. The case feels adequate but lacks the heavy-duty feel of more expensive padlocks. I wonder how long he can stand being hit with a big hammer. Update 10/04/2020 In my previous review I was wondering how long this lock would last if hit with a hammer. I've also wondered about some other ways of picking this lock, by holding the shackle, reprogramming when it's locked, etc. First, I'd like to say that I've never been able to beat the other reviewers on the lock I obtained the results listed below. Is it the updated lock design? I do not know. My main reason for updating this review is the brute force attack method used to pick this lock. On September 8th, 2020 my property burned down in a wildfire in California. The lock still held the container crate's locking bars, but showed severe heat damage. The knurled wheels melted and only the remains of slag got into the drum cavity. I wished in my container box that I went to work. The big hammer method couldn't open it. I went to my burned out garden shed and got myself a rock bar. I poked him dozens of times and hit him very well with the sharp end of the rod, but to no avail. Found the length of the chain with the hook. Attached the chain to the lock and rock bar. Wanted to pull the lever, no action. Extended the lever with a 10ft Unistrut stick. Only Unistrut bent. Finally, the fire department landed. They came with bolt cutters. After sighting, they cut off the rotary latch attached to the container box. Hm? Well, the lock still hangs there. The moral of the story is this: It doesn't matter what type of lock you have if you don't have hardened steel to hold it.
