It literally took two minutes to set up the repeater. Once it worked, the "dead zones" in my house were connected. This is a quality device. Now my kids on the other side of the house don't bother me complaining about bad or unstable WiFi. I placed it about halfway from the router to the area I wanted (about 65 feet) and it works great. My only complaint (not really a complaint I guess) is that the device sticks out a few inches from the wall and draws the dog's attention. Nothing I can't handle or teach the dog to ignore to solve the problem.
