We love these glass bottles by Avent. I love the nipples because ofnthe natural shape, my daughter does as well. However, after using for a month we have found that when used fresh right after a wash and formula refill they flow perfectly, but once our baby takes a burp break for 3 mins, the nipple stops flowing and ahe will continue to suck with nothing filling her belly. I always pay attention to the mL level for this reason and sometimes have to go wash the darn nipple in the middle of feeding. It's super annoying when you have a starving child. One nipple on one of the bottles doesn't barely flow at all since day one. We had to set it aside. The other nipples are now getting bad also. I always clean the bottles and using scrubby to get the nipples clean and let air dry.One VERY IMPORTANT thing. These bottles come with STAGE 3 NIPPLES. These are the nipples you want for your newborn. They are the perfect flow for newborns. You'd think that stage 1 would be, or even a zero. But I purchased the stage 1 nipples with this set of bottles and we couldn't get anything out of them when we tried them ourselves, before feeding our daughter. I returned them and saw a few reviews stating the Stage 3 is what you want.I wish these were better bottles. The glass quality is great. Sometimes your arm will get more tired quicker than with plastic bottles. They are quite durable and heavy.
