I bought this tablet for my grandma, we visit her often but unfortunately can't lately and her outdated desktop doesn't have a webcam and she can't read that when I buy one. Not only do I miss them, but my kids do too, so I came up with the idea of making a video call. She doesn't have a cell phone that can make video calls, so I needed a tablet that she could easily set up and understand herself (she's 77). After looking at several tablets, I settled on this one. because it seemed to have everything she needed and was easy enough for her to set up and use. I also needed something compatible with my Android devices or capable of receiving compatible apps. This one was already compatible with Android, so everything worked perfectly. The instructions came easily to her. She called me on the phone and we went through the setup together. She was very surprised that she could check emails and even check her Facebook on this tablet and was impressed by the small size but big screen. We had our first video chat that night and every night since. She's almost a pro at it and loves to play games and talk to us. There is no lag on either end of the video chat and the battery lasts all day. It usually charges at night so it's ready when you wake up in the morning. She took photos and saved some of the ones we sent and the camera is very good. In general I am completely satisfied. I can see and talk to my grandmother, as can my children, and she is happy. The price was very affordable and it is a good choice for beginner tablets. That's great.
