Review on Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice Arctic 235/55 R17 103T winter by Boyan Asenov ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The ratio of price and quality is very pleasing, I will repeat the purchase.

Because of the pattern and the depth of the tread, it was simple to maneuver on the roads after a blizzard (when the roads had not yet been cleared of snow and there was snow up to the bumper and higher). Unlike many of the other people on the road, who simply slid to a stop. Even then, I was perplexed as to why the Skoda Yeti I was driving did not have front-wheel drive like my own vehicle. There was another instance in which it happened to me; it was in the spring, and it happened just as the snow began to melt in the field; the road was impassable, and in general I got up and not there, not here; go ahead pits from tractors, and I have only 16 centimeters of clearance; go back - uphill from a soft mud layer that was 15 centimeters thick; in general, the choice was not very good, and I had to go backwards. I will tell you that if I had been on some other tires, I would not have left, and I believe that 99% of people would not have left, but I did leave on these tires. In nutshell, the vehicle was covered in specks of dirt (it had been lightly washed at the sink), but it was nevertheless driven away without the assistance of any other tools. Those of you who are interested will find that there is even a film documenting my efforts to drive up the hill in front of you. I will provide the link to you. Although tires are a personal choice for everyone, it's up to you, and I just wrote about my practice of using these tires, you should not even consider any Hakka 8/7 if you have the option to acquire Ice Arctic. In fact, you should not even think about any Hakka 8/7 at all.

Pros
  • 1. an almost ideal tread pattern for snow, mud, and ice, including rows that are perfect and rows that are accurate). It was tested on the highway at a speed of 150 miles per hour, it didn't fly off the road even in medium-steep corners, and I didn't detect any clue of a breakdown. 2. It holds the road well in slush, snow, and water. 3. I didn't notice any hint of a breakdown. 3. A softer rubber than that offered by competing brands. 4. There are a greater number of spikes than there were on the Hakka 7. 5. Produced in Poland and Germany (thank God not in 2022).
Cons
  • A bit noisy on dry pavement.
