Worst product ever bought from Revain

Let me start by saying that I'm an engineer so I think I know what I'm talking about. I've never had a part that gave me so many problems, especially the fuel/water separator. The first problem was that the hole to drain the water broke. I tried to fix it but the rubber inside was floating around the clear plastic bowl. This caused a serious fuel leak while driving, which could easily have started a fire. I went ahead and solved this problem by eliminating the threaded valve entirely. The second problem was that the plastic bowl came off completely during use, and not just once, but twice! I was WOT and suddenly the engine stalled. I immediately went to the filter scrap because I had a premonition. Naturally! The bowl is below. I went ahead and solved this problem by putting in a better o-ring. The third problem is that the so-called transparent shell turns completely white because the plastic is so cheap and fuel-resistant. The last straw for me was when the engine started stalling at idle. Once I bypass the filter, it works great. Before anyone says it could have been water, it absolutely wasn't. All fresh gas in filter and bowl. So I decided to come and return it, and guess what, a day late and under $40 to return it. I think it's my fault that I tried to get something to work and couldn't get it back from day one. Now I need to go out and buy a real (aka Racor) filter/water separator. To be honest I'm glad I bought this fuel filter, now there is one less outlet on the market for anyone to buy.
