Review on Kingston Brass BA2717PB Milano Polished by Josh Andrews

The mounting plate supplied with the product (rectangular with top flange longer than bottom) was different than shown in the installation guide (also rectangular with flanges on all four sides). Since the bottom flange was much shorter, the set screw did NOT "lock" it. When I rotated the mounting plate 180 degrees, the set screw now "hooked" the flange, the upper shorter flange did not "hook" the inside of the top of the coat hook and the hook just fell off. I wrote to Kingston. Brass about the above issue and they sent me the mounting plate listed in the installation guide. However, this mounting plate was 1/4" shorter than the mounting plate I originally received with the product and was therefore completely unusable! I have emailed Kingston Brass again but never received a response from them. So I removed the coat hooks ( I bought two of these) sent them back to Revain. After doing a google search for the company, I found that they are nothing more than importers. They do not manufacture anything. I don't know if the mounting plate issue, that I have encountered referencing their other products, but I would like to caution any potential customer to think twice before ordering any product from them.
