Positive aspects:- Quality: The bag is made of genuine leather and camouflage fabric. The joining stitches are superb and free from imperfections or dangling threads. Size: The closed inside of the bag is approximately 5-1/2 inches high, 10 inches long, and 5 inches wide. The top folds out to the sides and lifts, standing a whopping 7 inches tall when open. Material: Outer fabric - durable canvas sewn to the bottom of genuine leather. Please note that this is genuine leather and will have marks and scratches like any other leather. I feel like it will only add character to the bag over time. The inside of the bag looks like nylon or polyester. Please note the nylon has stitched seams so this is not a waterproof bag. Ease of Use: A wire is sewn into the top of the zipper so the top opening hangs vertically, keeping the bag upright and the top open. The leather bottom keeps the bags shape when placed on the counter. Basically it is not a flexible bag. Pockets: Interior has a 4" deep open pocket on one side and a 4" deep zippered pocket on the other side. There are no outside pockets.- Scent: It is leather and smells like leather. Love it! Cons: - The trade-off for all durable materials is weight. It weighs 10.4 ounces (296 grams) empty, so this isn't the kind of bag you can take with you on a hike. But if weight isn't an issue for you, then this is a quality, durable toiletry bag. There is no truly waterproof compartment or pocket. This is a fantastic wash bag that I am very happy with.
