Review on ACDelco 38323 Professional Automatic Tensioner by Mark Callaham

I bought this as a preventative measure, not to replace a broken one. I had a faulty power steering pump so thought I would change it at the same time just to be on the safe side. After the store put this on I was driving about a quarter mile down the road and the belt started to chirp and then turned into a squeak, a very loud and embarrassing screech. I went back to the shop where they determined that the tensioner was probably not tightening the belt enough. So now I paid them to put this one on and then I had to pay them to take it off and put my old one back on, two loads now, and on top of that my new belt was no good now. Dissatisfied.
