Always wanted one like this, just for fun. However, when I decided to buy it, I found many different brands, models, etc. It was overwhelming. I decided my budget was less than $45, and from there I came up with this idea. seemed easy enough, I was able to find the manufacturer's website, download the manual before purchasing. I bought it because my wife's car had a check engine light. was able to hook this up, diagnose it and got a code telling me the o2 sensor was bad. was easy enough to replace and when I replaced it I was able to reset the system, the check engine light didn't come on. big! A handy, must-have tool at a fraction of the cost of a mechanic! It works, tested by me, on 2012 Hyundai Sonata, 2009 Nissan Cube and 2008 Ford Taurus.
