The tie came on time. It is made of a satin-like material such as polyester. It's not really shiny and the colors look nice and faded like I wanted. This is a tight tie. I've worn it to work almost once in the 10 days since I received it. In just under a year, the tie has gone through 5-6 dry cleaning cycles and so far has shown no signs of wear. I will update the review if the tie suddenly goes bad, but I don't think that can happen. Looks a lot more expensive than it actually is. I would recommend this tie to anyone who wears a skinny tie.
