Let me tell you the product works, you can use it to cut cheese. But as for getting really thin slices, oh good luck with that. Not at all suitable for cutting salami or sausage. The blade is straight, point-to-point-to-point, the lack of a slight curve in the blade causes it to rip through the sausage instead of slicing it. I'm not totally disappointed in that. But I'm not entirely happy either. It saves me some time and effort cutting cheese. Just don't expect it to be much thinner than 1/8 inch. And the blade's lack of curvature pushes what you're trying to cut away from the edge, making it difficult to keep the cuts even from the small thickness guide they have... I think I'll have to snap. and bring me a deli slicer, it was worth trying it to see if it works, it will come in handy for snacks and such.
