4 stars for this portable enclosure that is perfect for baby turtles. Why 4 stars? The lid is made of clear acrylic plastic which must be handled with care as it can easily break under stress. In any case, the black part is ventilated, and a small window allows you to open the hatch instead of removing the entire cover. Expect every part of the clear acrylic to be rubbed or scratched by its occupants. If scratches are acceptable, you'll appreciate this portable living space. Otherwise, you should buy glass, but expect to pay a bit more and get more weight. For our purposes this system is ideal for getting tortoises out into the daylight as it's light/allowing some greenery through an available sunroof for the tortoises to have a snack and it's ok/simple enough. Highly recommended for use in early growth stages as tortoises will roam freely in the garden once they have reached a safe growth stage.
