Review on 🧱 WishaLife Cardboard Blocks: 40pcs Extra-Thick Jumbo Stackable Bricks for Toddlers and Kids - Building Fun Guaranteed! by Carol Miller

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great toy but not as advertised

Four stars instead of five because these bricks are not advertised either. They're the same thickness as the Melissa and Doug blocks I bought a few years ago and were the thinnest boxes I've ever seen. They advertise that they will support Β£150. I highly doubt it as some bent during assembly. They are also 3/8 inch smaller in length and width than the old ones. On a positive note, this toy brings out the best of my two grandchildren's technical skills. At the age of three and nine, their ideas diverge widely. You play with these blocks for hours. I threw in some of their old ones, that were either crushed or had holes in them, and they had enough left over to tickle their imaginations. A word of caution. These blocks are smaller than their counterparts, but they still work well together as long as you keep the same type on the horizontal levels when building. I seriously doubt they will hold up to 150 pounds, but you can bet my 85-pound grandson will test that theory. The boys love playing with these toys and I love that the TV and Kindle are off. as long as you keep the same type on the horizontal levels when building.
