Questionable good for me

Overall, they look nice -- exactly what I wanted. However, couple of things are questionable:1) I got a CA prop 65 warning in the package about the product containing dangerous chemicals. I called the 800-number and they told me that this particular product is safe for food use (I hope so);2) On the inside of the lid there is some type of thick waxed paper lining (see photo). It is glued on and is very hard to remove. That lining can trap water underneath and cause mold (which is a big concern).

Love these jars and wish they came in more of a variety of sizes

Cons

Glue on inside of lid and it won’t come off! Get others that you see on here with a white lid. No clue!
